DMCA policy

Stylebykimm respects intellectual property rights. This page explains how to report material you believe infringes your copyright.

Scope

This website does not currently host public user uploads, comments, or a content-sharing service. It presents the studio’s own copy and images, and lets visitors submit appointment requests that are stored privately.

The policy below is published so that a rights holder has a clear route to report infringement if it ever occurs.

Reporting infringement

Send a written notice to our designated agent that includes all of the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. The URL or other location of the material you claim infringes, described well enough for us to find it.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.

Where to send it

Notices may be sent to bookings@kimmstyle.hair, addressed to the copyright agent, Stylebykimm, New Orleans, Louisiana. We acknowledge receipt of valid notices within a reasonable period.

What we do with a notice

On receiving a valid notice we review the material and, where we believe it infringes, remove or disable access to it and notify the person who posted it. We keep a record of the action taken.

Counter-notification

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the same address containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the removed material and where it appeared.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal courts for the district where you reside, or where the material appeared, and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the notice.

Repeat infringers

We maintain and enforce a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the access of contributors who repeatedly infringe copyright.

Misrepresentation

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, creates liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Please be certain before you file.

Registered agent

This page is informational and is not legal advice. Because the site does not currently host user-submitted media, Stylebykimm has not yet registered a designated DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office. If that changes, the registered agent’s details will be published here.
